PAUL BOYTER, OWNER/HEAD FACILITATOR
Paul Boyter is a percussionist and multi instrumentalist with over 20 years experience in interactive corporate team building and stress management through music. He has a background in alternative therapies such as reflexology and meridian therapy and is a qualified yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner.
Paul has a passion for music and mindfulness – joining these two modalities into a valuable meaningful experience is his ultimate goal, thereby allowing people of all beliefs and backgrounds a space to feel authentically and comfortably themselves.
Ben and Paul have been close friends since 1998 when they first met as enthusiastic drummers and facilitators. Ben carries pure heart in all his facilitation work with audiences and inspires a funky style of playing music together with his groups.
GOULA BIENVENU GORE BI
Goula is a young Master drummer from Ivory Coast West Africa, a dynamic djembe player full of energy and life. He has just recently called South Africa home.
Is a singer, songwriter, artist and teacher. Tracey uses a wide range of vocal styles and tones, and has a passion for music and its power to inspire, communicate and process emotion. Tracey has been singing all her life and has performed with various artists, venues and festivals.
Kojo lion is a master drummer and dance choreographer from Ghana West Africa. He arrived in South Africa in 2003 – after a short musical tour of the country he decided to make Jozi his home base from which to share his passion for the drum. Kojo is the main composer for the West African drum troupe the “Lions”.
A true “wunderkind”, Zech Jourdaan started playing drums at the age of 11 and continued honing his craft throughout his school career. Zech attended the Johannesburg National School of the Arts, majoring in drums while studying contemporary music and jazz. After school, Zech contributed to several incredibly successful music collaborations and still tours the world with them.
Zech has a passion and talent for creating new music, and spends most of his free time composing pieces for various projects, including television and film. Zech started his teaching career in 2010 with an independent music school in Jozi; teaching classical guitar and drums. He now has his own studio space for his drum teaching practice.
